Many Sailfish users and Jolla owners are wondering what day of December the next SF release will be released.
According to communications, the date should be by December 24, but we at Jolla-Devices assume a release around January / February 2019.
Why say this?
By looking at the 2017/2018 release cycles from Jolla.
In November 2017 Kymijoki 2.1.3 was released, while
at February 2018 Lapuanjoki was released 2.1.4
in June 2018 Mouhijoki was released 2.2
finally, in September, Nurmonjoki 2.2.1
Finally, SF 3.0 arrived in November and restarted the annual cycle.
The release cycles seem to have a cadence between 2 and 4 months, with a higher frequency in the winter period.
