October was a so quiet month, looking at Sailfish OS ecosystem, but at the end the latest update came out for early birds.
Trick or treat?
We are in 2019. Jolla didn’t conquered the world, and it’s not sure if will remain the 3rd smartphone OS, but it’s still there, and the Jolla Phone is still maintained after 6 years. Not bad!

Fintech and digital payment will be more and more important, here is a strong call to ING Espana by Fernando Lanero.

Approaching 2020s, the mobile market is living a sort of “OS proliferation”: new OS are born every month!
Volla is particularly interesting – beyond the assonance with Jolla – for the fact that it is a debut and a Kickstarter campaign.
Does this also remind you of something?
The project is German, and points to a simplified management of the UX. Anyway, the operating system is based on AOSP, Android. The hardware instead, should be a Gigaset.
A curiosity: one of the FAQs is already about a possible porting of Sailfish OS.

With Color OS 6, Oppo will deliver a brand new visual layout, just but remember that this is always a customisation of Android.
If ColorOS 5.2 is “Smart, Fun and Convenient”, here comes a mind-blowing revolution! With #ColorOS6, you can experience a brand new visual layout, a user-friendly game assistant that reduces latency… and more to come! Stay tuned! #OPPO #LessIsLimitless pic.twitter.com/kJ6lSBPeig

Having 2 XA2 available gave me the opportunity to make comparative comparisons: the first was a battery test under wifi, no SIM, lasted 9 days. The XA2 with Android 9 won, there is room for optimisations on the Jolla side, but in any case it is an excellent result per l’Xperia XA2.

I finally had the time for a side by side versus between the stock and Sailfish OS camera.
