The Sailfish OS UI is sleek and solid working, with a very nice icon set in a particular “hipster” flat design that is still good today.
But if you wants something new in graphics, or something more in customisation, you have to instal the UI Themer app by Fravaccaro.
The app is published on OpenRepos site and its app version, Storeman.
A list of features include:
And other advanced thing like changing the device pixel ratio and changing DPI for Alien Dalvik.
Lastly, the app has a function of full reverting to the original state for fonts and icons, this because modding Sailfish, could cause issues in coincidence of major OTA update.
So remember to revert your Sailfish before to update.
As you probably know, the Jolla Harbour has not set up a monetisation method for developers, so each developer uses his own founding method.
The choice of Fravaccaro was to release the app in the FREE and open source format, with voluntary offer. You can tip the author with a donation of a free amount or use the UX-oriented link below:
Jolla-Devices is trying to make the payment of an app easy and instinctive, with a standard a price ranges emulated from the “proven working” App Store, which has app categorised in price ranges from 0,99€ to average 4,99€.
Of course you can rise the donation amount once in paypal.me
J-D doesn’t take any fee.
Advanced: Paypal.me is easy, but sending money with Paypal using a non-business account has less commissions.
You can find the app at this location in OpenRepos, or searching by name on Storeman.
