The Sony XA2 has the better quality/price ratio within the XA2 models. It’s an octa-core smartphone with high quality display and a curved glass.

This is a detail page about the SONY Xperia XA2. There are few sub version, each with its different code name, but same speech, so it could be a little confusing.
Basically we have 2 different model, single SIM, or dual SIM. The above frequencies are from maemo.org.
The XA2 Xperia is powered by an octa-core 2.2GHz Cortex-A53 CPU processor (the Snapdragon 630) and this makes it much more capable than its predecessor Xperia X, which was basically a 4 + 2 cores, ed. The GPU is an Adreno 508 GPU, enough to handle the workload.
For memory, there are 3 GB of RAM and 32GB of file starting with the usual microSD slot for expansion. (To verify if the Sailfish-32GB limit is still there).
The battery is a large, non-removable, from 3,300 mAh. It is compatible with QuickCharge 3.0 format for fast charging.
That said, Sony usually does not provide the rapid charger, and then the charge will be slower.
The cameras is – as usual for Sony devices – very good, with a main-camera of 23MP f / 2.0 apertures, with 2160p / 30fps video recording.
The front camera is 8MP, appreciated for its 120 degrees of shooting angle, but with fixed focus. It allows a good 1080p / 30fps video recording.
One aspect that struck in all the reviews is the good industrial design: the body of the phone is slightly curved, convex, and this helps the grip.
Watching him well there is some similarity with the loved Nokia N9, especially looking at the blue model: the curved glass (only horizontally, however), the relatively thickness, glossy finish on the sides as extras.
The Xperia blue XA2 is the editor’s choice. When will Sailfish installed, the rounded corners will accompany swipe gestures!
Our video unboxing, which in reality is a re-unboxing – because the first unboxing is as Android 8.0, and we had to flash it and re package it to simulate an unboxing. 🙂
